Birmingham Tutor Company would like to inform you about a new possible option for you to take your GCSE Maths Equivalency through us. GCSE Maths Equivalency Exams are for those who haven’t been in full time education or studying for a long period of time and haven’t quite obtained the full GCSE or GCSE grade to a certain level and are looking to gain entry onto training courses for the likes of midwifery, nursing and teacher training.

The first steps to completing your GCSE Maths Equivalency Exam is to decide your exam provider. Here at Birmingham Tutor Company, we recommend you to use A Star Equivalency due to them being a close partner of ours and that they have been a leading provider of GCSE Maths Equivalency Exams since 2002. They also offer you an efficient way to book and choose the right course, making the stress of booking exams a lot less for you.

This includes their easy to book calendar option which offers you all foreseeable exam dates available and how much they cost. The price tends to decrease as you book the exam further in advance.

There are two options when it comes to taking your GCSE Maths Equivalency Exam, you can either sit the Higher Exam or the Foundation Exam. We recommend you to sit the foundation exam purely because there is less content to learn and because of the higher success rates in comparison to the higher paper. However, whichever you decide to take, we have a team of tutors here at the Birmingham Tutor Company who will do everything they can to help you obtain your desired grades in whichever tier paper.

To give you an idea of what the grade boundaries are like and which paper you think you will best succeed at, please see them below :
